CATEGORY: Film

PROJECT DIRECTOR: Ruby Collins

ALL THE LOVE I COULD HANDLE is a short film inspired by the life and legacy of Kathleen Collins, written and directed by Collins' granddaughter. This film tells the layered story of Kathleen as not only an artist but as a mother, humanizing her beyond the myth of an idyllic pioneer. This film explores the complicated tug-of-war between one woman's responsibility to her ambitions and to her children. ALL THE LOVE I COULD HANDLE chronicles a true slice of Kathleen's life and invites viewers to explore the dualities of life and the inherent struggles that come with the healing journey.
